Jeans do last longer than 1 second down the road!

Thanks guys, I am really ok, the bikes an easy fix I just wanted to point out that Jeans are ok to ride in but they wont protect you and wanted to share that for those new to the game, and that older riders can bin it too.


Yeah and to dispell that myth that jeans will tear up in far less time, and NO I aint testing the theory again

I'm glad to hear that your ok, i'll take a guess that "one second" is for tarmac surfaces where the surface itself doesnt deform when you slide along it. Gravel and dust does, so depending on the thickness of the loose surface you're effectively slipping along some rather misshapen and pointy ball bearings so slide longer, i'm a bit surprised how well it's held up though.
