So after a nice little ride up the old road on Saturday with a ZX6 rider from here (who was taking his better half for her first serious pillion experience), and after said better half opting to take the trip back aboard the ZRX the aforementioned better half was allegedly heard to prounounce........

Ar yes, its becomming all to familuer isnt it? I went for a quiet sunday lunch cruise on the Old road, & came accross a couple of old road racers on there megga dollar sports bikes, clad in all the latest Alpine Star clobber, probably $25000+ worth of kit. Doing Casey Stoner impressions on the corners, then squrting it on the straights. After following for a K or two, I smoothly passed them all & continued on my way to the PITS. Not long after I orded my pie they came in, they saw my ZRX looked it over & rode away with a strange look on their faces.

That's for sure it's not much trying to keep up to REXs
(Glen owns a special edition 08, and I might be wrong but do you still have a six in the ranks Marty? )
Well actually Chris owns a special edition 08..........I climbed further up the food chain

Yes Tim I still own a ZX6R and not just any ZX6R either. Troy Bayliss' old 1995 SS bike. On a racetrack it's a Fucking weapon. it would still qualify mid field in a modern national 600SS race. It's a bit slow with me on it, but that's just a lack of ability. A decent A grader could chuck a 39 at the island on it. I struggle to do 44's on it these days. But it still gives me a mad rush every time I ride it.
But, for the road, the Rex is king.
