Re: Is Facebook killing us?
While I wholeheartedly agree that Facebook has become the blanky for,I can only hope I'm wrong, an entire legion of socially inept web trolls, who are completely unable to relate to people without benefit of keyboard and monitor.
Trouble is I'm old enough to remember thinking the exact same thing about web forums when we used to hang out in IRC channels like #ausmoto......
Technology changes, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, in terms of Facebook though my only thought is this.
Imagine the sunburn cases if Facebook were suddenly taken offline and the cave dwellers were forced from their darkened sanctums into a world of burning sunlight.
Let the bastards cook

Re: Is Facebook killing us?
Although sometimes tempted, unfortunately i would then loose the only form of contact i have with a large number of people I have met over the years, not many use msn, icq, yahoo, etc. and emails, pfft, almost none use those. I log onto FB quite infrequently and can go a couple of weeks without starting the pesky thing up until i get hassled to.
