I had the R6 06 and upgraded to a zx6 09. First session it felt VERY weird!! I honestly thought I'd made a mistake and that I wouldn't get used to the sitting position and forks. Well, the day progressed and by the 4th session I was already matching my PB on the R6. 5th session I beat it!!
Completely stock zx6r track bike (other than race farings and GP209s treaded) vs R6 06 track bike w/full Akro Ti + filter + PCIII + I. Module (all dyno tuned) + Q.shifter + GP209s slicks (190 rear) + Ohlins steering damper + Ferodo HH pads + braided lines...

I havent ridden a 05-06 636 but id imagine it would b a better roadie, 09 better trackie. Having said that i used the 09 as a roadie and if u r upgrading from a lams bike u wont think its gutless. The tacho on the 636 is shithouse compared to the 09 6.
Thats why god invented the rev-limiter
Or remove dash insert shift light=Profit

I had this on the R6, pretty useful to be honest. Especially the voltmeter for the battery since it was a track bike and I would only start it like once every 5-6 weeks!

If it's anything like the shift light on the 09 I'd say it's pretty useless too...
Its worse its either off, dim or bright, no blink function
Oh well, as long as you can see it... I'd just set it on bright!
