Looking at the times I posted a 42 would be a pretty good time in 95 / 96.. Wouldn't it.?
Can't find times from that era... :-) (all mags were lost in the great divorce war of 97)

From memory Kev Curtain was doing 41's or low 42's in 96. Same bike as mine. But I could only get to within about a second of the really good guys. Even at that I was crashing...... a lot  . Comfortable race laps were around 43's and 44's depending on weather and wind. But I can't do that now and have never claimed to be able to. I would be lucky to get back to where I was in 05/06 which is mid 40's at the Island and 62's at Broadford. (I like Broadford :) )

But, watch this space. My health appears to have turned a corner in the last week or so and the medication is keeping me moving, so who knows, maybe it's the start of the biggest comeback since Lazerous.....maybe not. We'll see in time how the body mends and if it does I can guarantee you i'll be back.....

Mate anything under 50's on a bike is fast, Into the 40's is really fast, into the 30's is insanely fast and into the 20's is alien status fast.

Being a corner speed track and all, I'd believe it...

Yeah, I'd rather be thought of as a confused carnt than be known as a weak prick who hides behind a made up persona to say stuff, rather than having the balls to post it under a known username. ;) Spineless wanker!
