re: to wheelie or not to wheelie....
Everyone has had their say. Not farkin likely. Call Neka a tool for doing wheelies outside night clubs and binning it. Wait your correct he is a tool.
As for my feather jacket wearin friend. Dude, lighten up, take some ponstan and when your over your little period pain, slap yourself up the side of the head and have a chill pill.
Each to their own, i do em and have no problems with it. I do shit people probably think is silly sometimes. I try not to put people in a position, where they feel unconfortable, but if people take offence to riding with me, they have a choice.
We will have differing opinions, this is apart of being in a group and people will have to accept that, or move on.
Sorry you've decided to leave, but it sounds like your cut and it's probably for the best.
Take care and rubber side down dude.

re: to wheelie or not to wheelie....
OK, time to stop lurking!
Wow, my first real post!
(That's what you get when you are procrastinating over writing an assignment!)
I like seeing other people do wheelies, preferably somewhere quiet where they aren't going to hurt anyone else. Eventually I would like to learn how to do them, but I am nowhere near the ability of doing one myself yet!
I was driving along Logan Rd at about 5pm on a weekday a few weeks ago, and there was a guy on a bike who had cut the lanes between my lane and the guy in a car in the next lane over. The guy on the bike (not a Kwaka) decided to pop a wheelie off from the lights. He ended up drifting into the other lane, couldn't regain control and when he tried to drop his bike down, he ended up dropping the bike and slid down the road on his side, and the guy in the car missed his head by inches.
Moral of the story - there is a time and a place!

Nice post Esie, you have just the right toy to learn on there too, just my humble opinion (as I am still learning wheelies) but the Z750 and 1000 are about the easiest bike I have ever managed to mono on......thoughts???...comments???esie75 wrote:OK, time to stop lurking!![]()

re: to wheelie or not to wheelie....
I think wheelies, stoppies are very important skill to learn and execute on emergencies, but not worth the risk to show them off due to costly repairs, mechanical damage, pain, and loss of license.
In saying that... I heard that wheelie is actually automatic loss of license. Is that right ? What about stoppies and burnouts ?
*** Wow I just read the posting and someone left the forum
