Still don't have a helmet... Tried on a hjc as Rhok suggested and didn't like the fit....

Then I tried on a bell didn't like that either....

Tried on an arai like the one I wrote off, still a great fit....

I used to own an rjays helmet and liked that - haven't seen a carbon one though

Might have a look at the rjays if I can find it otherwise fork out another $800 for an arai or buy one from overseas for $600 and recycle my AS sticker :)

That's the thing with helmets, what fits one person great doesn't fit another so well, i have found Bell the best fit for my head, you must have an Arai fit head so stick with what is comfortable for you.
Here is another Carbon helmet though i haven't heard of them before: http://www.motorcycleracegear.com.au/Ta ... elmet.html

or you could save $3500 for this looker

The only thing that worries me with the Rjays is the size of the outer shell compared to my shoei.
Yes it's light. Looks ok. But a bit too much wind comes up under it at times which gives me sore eyes at the end of a long days riding.

My next helmet will be a Marquez shoei xr1100

hi just scored a new shoei xr1100 from santa ( bless his credit card). Tried on a few types, brands, and the fit was varied between each brand. each to their own and budget constraints.
I only drink to make my friends more interesting.

Bought myself a Christmas present today - arai vector 2...

Despite the fact it is lower in the range than my stacked rx-q I actually like it more! The fit is very similar but the ventilation seems much better. It also seems quieter for some reason?!

Didn't get it because I like giugliano, I just like the colours :)
