Yes because we are all a bunch of bad riders and hoons lol.
I really do think though bike riders do make better car drivers.
Maybe they should mekebit compulsory for all new car drivers to hold a bike license for 2 yrs first before being allowed to get a car license. ......
WOW how safe wohld the roads be then

Move to Tasmania, all our roads are bike friendly, with little to no police or highway patrol..... it's great fun!

[quote]He said it was common to see riders speeding through Laguna village at more than 100km/h in a 70km/h zone. [quote]
Well how does he know that?? Is he a trained HWP offiser?
As they are the only ones that can in a court can estimate speed.
Does he have a speed/radar gun?
To make sweeping statmants like that is bullshit of the highest degree.
Ok we all know there are boy racers on the road & yes some are pretty silly, but to tar all with the one brush is unfair..

riders do make better drivers and are more aware of their surroundings.............................you do also have to accept the fact that a large number of weekend riders push it on the road, are more susceptible to road conditions, and riders generally have less protection than a car jam packed with air bags.

Considering the speed limit has been dropped over the years in that section, not surprising really to see a few speed.

I would bet my left nut that any of us, when we ride in a group, tell the newbies or slower riders to ride within their limits and meet at a certain place or intersection.
I dont get Brian Wood of the Motorcycle Council trotting out comments as quoted although the truth is often a casualty to sensationalism in the media.
Oh yeah and a local priest is considered an expert witness in court for determining speed of motorcycles

So where is the pic of the cheap ass bogan fucks that ride their brand new bike they could only just afford in a pair of thongs, shorts and a singlet?! Any incident involving these lot and a simple low side becomes a larger issue.
No bullshit (uley) I saw a bloke riding a newish looking F4 MV Augusta in thongs, shorts and a singlet. what a tool.

I don’t care how liberated this world becomes – a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume – and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.

Non of those crash statistics state who was actually in fault for all the motorcycle crashes either. It was a pretty piss poor article. Lets only mention the statistics that support our story. Arse hats.

There is one or two around naracoorte one on a zx300r you always see shorts ad t-shirt. I even seen him when he must have just got it on the highway at least 130kph with his t-shirt blowing up his back. For fools like this they need a better minimum protective clothing standard. I suit up no matter how cold or warm it is.

The trouble is. Your spending more time fixsated on your speedo than looking at what your doing. Its the same in a car. you just cant enjoy a drive in the country. because your forever watching your speed ! bikes are worse !!!
