ZXR400
ZXR400
Hi, all. New member here. I just picked up a new bike and I am now trying to research it. I live here in the states. The bike was picked up in Japan. It was never imported to the states. It's a ZXR400H2. I was told that some of the bigger bikes might cross with it though. I was wondering if anyone out there might know and if so which ones. Thanks, Nathan.

Welcome to the forum. I would imagine only bikes bigger that the 400 might be quicker than is an older 600- in a straight line. 400s are an awesome size- enough power with great handling- my CB400 is great fun....just needs a little more go and ground clearance- it has 60Hp- would imagine that the ZXR would be similar if not more powerful. Ride 'em hard and they are great fun.

2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R
Yeah I like Kawasakis.

Thanks, I'll try the site. Another good one is http://www.z-klasmo.de/
But I've heard that parts are interchangable with the ZX6, ZX7 and ZXR750. Just trying to double check.

As for interchangable bits i doubt you'll find much, some body parts may fit from the ZXR250 & some parts off the early zxr7 may.
But i dont think much off the 6r will at all. It really is a scaled down zx7r after all. The only similar bit from the early 6r that i can think of is the number plate light holder.
hth.
Cheers Brett

Try http://www.400greybike.co.uk/ there forum is down at the moment but you might find a parts number database there, my experiance is a lot of parts and seals and stuff fit across a lot of diferent models but if you want parts for a bike they didnt sell in your part of the world you need to know the parts numbers because the dealers dont, doesnt mean they dont have the part they just dont know the numbers
Good luck with the 400 they look like a great little bike.

Good luck with the 400 they look like a great little bike.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
