Collette, recently we bought from Oxford Products the Oxford 1 tankbag, panniers & tailpack. They are waterproof for light rain, and come with raincovers for heavier rain. We have done a few long distance trips with them comfortably holding sufficient clothes for the both of us (and the necessary girlie trappings for me!) We got them from Midtown Kawasaki, and all together they cost around $200.
Cheers,
Anne

Yeh that looks good tanya but i reckon the rack with a set of these as well and leave the tankbag at home and you could do a little more than a overnighter.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
