Can anyone tell me if any wheels off any other of those inferior brand motorcycles, will fit a 98 ZX9 without too many probs??

Given a few hours with a lathe and mill to machine up some spacers and, possibly, custom spindles, sure they will.

While we're here, how much do wreckers charge for wheels? I was thinking that if '05 rims are a fair bit lighter than my '98 rims, and not stupid dear that they might be an alternative to 5G's for BSTs or similar.

Typically between $250 and $400 per bare rim for something that's been out a year or two... current stuff, it's not uncommon for them to ask double that, if they can even get it.

'05 what vs '98 what?
