Not the be all and end all but some interesting stuff. HJC have been doing a bit for a while which looks like it's paying off.

Great post!
Surprising to see the HJC AC-11 did so well, I have this one and can attest to what they said about it and is rather noisy at notso legal speeds
however I'm looking at the Shoei TZR ATM which a friend has highly recommended to replace a dinged/scratched HJC so I am very pleased to see those results.
Both these helmets are very different in how they feel and operate too, although I thought the HJC felt heavier and has a lower front surrounding the chin and cheek area.
The Shoei besides feeling lighter has better venting/cooling arrangement and is a few hundred more than what I paid for my HJC back in September 04' so this may sway my decision back the way of a HJC
(as long as I can get black which is very important safety consideration to match the bike)
Just my inflated 40 cents worth.
