I put a factory pro shift kit and detent arm in the my zx9r.
Its about a 4 beer job with the hardest part getting the clutch basket bolt off. I hired a rattle gun and that solved the problem.
You will need a clutch cover gasket and thats about it.
The one I put in looked like this, but it was before they had the shift star.
The stock detent arm looks like a mini pizza cutter with a rivet holding the 2 pits of metal together. The factory pro one has roller bearings..
One of the best mods I made, eliminated missed shifts and shifts much quicker.
