1'50 first time at the Creek is very good indeed, you should be proud of your efforts. It looks like you were running slicks ? This would help a lot.

For everyone else who hasn't ridden the Creek, in order to get under 2 minutes, you need to average almost 100mph to get this time, so anything under 2 minutes is a great effort, and not easy at all.

My FE Z has a rear treaded tyre that is only slighter wider than the front tyre on your 600

it is also about ohh, 50kg heavier ? and about the *same* hp as a good 6. The fast crew in the U/L FE class were spotting about 1'45, and the 1 quick bloke ( Simon Thomas, he used to ride with Dick Moohan b4 he was famous), mate he can put a Bol'Dor around at 1'40

Now HE is fast.

Dyno quoted figures are legit mate, I don't make shit up about motorbikes

far too much respect for that. I will try and get some dyno charts scanned so I can post them. There is a turbo 12 in Sydney
(a streeter) that spots >400 RWHP !!!

The 12 was quicker at Valencia on the recent Master Bike test through the entire rear section of the circuit. Quicker than a K5 GSX1000R.It impressed the hell out of all the testers, because no-one expected it to be so good.......

of course there is also the *minor* issue of almost 190hp at full noise.......

i just wanna see dyno charts that say 180 plus horse power of a zx12 with a pc111 , not some custom big bore special , or unusable turbo'ed monstrosity

sure thing mate, I will do my level best to get some dyno charts from an Aussie site, and post them here. Will it matter if they use a US-made Dyno ??

The *proof* of the maxHP ouput for the '05 12 is simply quoted from the test in AMCN - I trust their judgement. They quoted 189ps. I believe it.

*NOTE* -189 ps - this is CRANK horsepower, not SAE ( or Rear wheel ). Most stock 12's are around 160-165 SAE

chevykat aka big kev 2005 zx12r with pc111 fully custom exhaust system @ 167 rwhp ( i have seen the chart on that mutha )

scotty 37 &1/4 2005 zx12r stock @ 160rwhp

mad fab 2002zx12r pc111 & arrow system 164 rwhp ( can provide chart )

i have seen all these bikes and they all are around 160 hp not the 180 to 190 you are saying .

come on dude show me the charts

p.s. i also gott a 1998 zx9 with 148 rwhp , can post that chart if u want

check the posts under the Dyno charts thread. There is already 1 chart posted. Even that reading surprised me

Mate, all I can say is that you must be using the worlds stingiest dyno

and this is not exactly *news* to dyno operators everywhere, in fact it is not unusual at all to have up to 15hp difference between dynos with the same bike being tested

Its not lunacy, in fact I have found a heap of new info on the .org site for the 12 that I had not seen before, so its all good mate

Has anyone pointed out to Big Kev that he is only makin 7hp more with a full *custom* exhaust and PCIII ?? sounds to me like that 'zorst has stolen HP, not found any *chortle* and your bike only 4hp more than stock ???? something needs fixing there as well, with a PCIII and an Arrow exhaust, you should be well up into 170+ territory ??

I think you guys need some mapping assistance really, there is plenty available on the .org site, the Yanks have really got their shit together.

btw is that picture a 9 then ,and not a 6 ?? is 6 months riding experience fair dinkum or what ??

This would of course be a reference to the guy on the Red 12 at Darlington who hosed Fab !

and the fastest bike at eastern creek 31 july was a bloody 125

and the fastest guy at Darlington was on a bloody ZX12R
