The only thing ugly on the R1 is the seat.. the rest of it is bloody sweet

Well, Actually YES, I have video footage of me catching & passing an 04/05? R1 rider under braking going into turn 3 @ QR & then proceding to pull away alittle.

i got to ride a friend's r1. it was pretty nice. however - it felt small in comparison to my zx9. the front end is pretty light so it is easy for it to 'accidentally' come off the ground.

of course the sweetest thing was that he liked my bike. he said that he finally understood why i like it so much.
