I contacted my local dealer and have already ordered my front wheel. They checked my VIN # to make sure my bike fell under the recall but I was under the impression that all 10R's where to be recalled.

And for the hatters of the 10r, Don't be hatt'in! It is still a great KAWASAKI!

Well, that's no help  the 636 and the 9R are too big as well.

...but I'd really like Maz' Z1000 or a new Z750.

Lot to be said for an extra couple of inches in height.

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

I used to work with an Indian-Malaysian guy who would have just scraped over 5'. Lovely guy, but he did get the shite ribbed out of him because of his lack of inches (not from me though).

He used to wear boots with heels AND inserts and I vowed I'd put up with the lack of height. That was before I started to ride.

However, my bike boots already have 1" of heel, how much more could I get away with before looking decidely odd? I already have trouble finding boots, I have normal-sized wide feet with fairly high arches.

Nah, I think I'm just cursed to ride a mighty ZZR600 until I retire and buy that MV Augusta (lowered, of course)....Unless I can find a short person with a Z750/Z1000 who can convince me otherwise.

I'd like to see Maz' bike just to see what she's done. However, I think she's in NSW and I'm not really in the market atm, so wouldn't want to waste her time anyway. I don't think it's that short at the moment anyway with the 6RR linkages.

C'mon Mick 12 months ago i thought the 636 was too big for me, dont let the Long streaks have all the Fun...once there moving we all 9 ft tall and Cage Proof. Oh mate and its length of boot not height that matters at the lights for me.

You looking to upgrade Bobbi ..... the Weapon "Randy V" too slow ??.
I'm sure the 10 would be easier to manage than Randy V if your in the market ... well until you twist the grip anyway... then Whoa Nelly .... lookie out.
