it doesnt have a mechanical choke as such it just makes it idle quicker i asume by pulling the throttle around a bit rather than making the mixture richer.
Good to hear someones sorting it for ya sterohead.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

For the ZX9R they're $200 each - ie $800 for full set.StereoHead wrote:are coils expensive?
I expect ZX6R to be similar - try a wreckers.
Not saying that's your problem - I'm not sure what that is.
But if it turns out to be coils go 2nd hand. I got a full set for $300

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Well you would have to ask the question WHY, is the plug cliping onto the lead properly and I havnt played with plugs thats generally another mans job but is the lead attached to the coils properly.
might have to test the coil as well and is it the same plug and tank of fuel that keeps fouling.
do you use the expensive fuel?? 98 ron vortex or bp ultimate because they have stuff in them to clean injectors.....consider a bottle of fuel docter from supercheap its 16 bucks a bottle and will last you about 2 years for a bike and cleans injectors and water out of fuel tanks.
I would think a dirty injecter could lead to a fouled plug, you overdose that fuel docter on the first go and it does amazing things to injection systems make them go a little slower at first but once its done its job your fuel consumption goes down.

Its the same plug, but a different coil (swapped coil to another cylinder)..beryl wrote:Well you would have to ask the question WHY, is the plug cliping onto the lead properly and I havnt played with plugs thats generally another mans job but is the lead attached to the coils properly.

I only use the best fuel at every station (except shell optimax)....
I have run an injector cleaner through the tank... But I might overdose it tomorrow...
The world is round. It has no point.
dont overdo it with the other stuff it might run like a dog but it says on the back of the fuel docter bottle to hit it with a few hard doses first up to clean the goo out of the system.
it seems to be a detergent but also says safe for 2 strokes and race fuel, i have used it with diesel and in my bike without any grief but i dont do it all the time just every nw and then.
