If it's sub-$1000 mark I'll happily zap my eyes.

I have had cataract surgery on both eyes. I only need glasses for reading, so sometimes my riding is a bit off, cos I can't change focus from long to short, so I have to be able to see a road.
I also have trouble if we venture onto a road with trees creating shadow/bright/shadow spots.
Now, for your solution, maybe take Pontikat's advice, (small a frame as possible(keep weight of bike down)), and get them fitted with transition lenses. They go from bright to dark (when u go from dark to light) and dark to light (when u go from light to dark)........

I too wear glass`s ,what i have found is get smallish ones ,these fit better in both road and dirt bike helmuts/goggles.
The only thing i found is since i sweat a lot is stainless steel will seize up around the hindges ,but a small amount of WD40 fixed this, but would suggest to stay away from Titanium frames. I know they are light but one day i was putting mine on thru the helmut and managed to break off one arm,so i take them in to get fixed, only to find that Titanium cant be soldiered like stainless,so was up for new frames.
Another thing with getting small frames is that some times you can get them under standard dirt bike goggles which cost about $50-60 where as if you have to by OTG (over the glass`s goggles) they cost about $100-120 . They are basically the same goggle except that OTG`s are about 8mm deeper.

Oh another thing that Rossi told me about, if you use an Irridium/tinted screen for night riding Carry apir of cheap safelty glasses which go over the top of my normal glasses then ride Visor up. Ratmick would have a BIG bug story to go with this method i'm sure.
Rain suks bum for we glasses wearers, i can get about 40mins before i have to stop & dry my glasses & visor.
Cheers Brett
