Mate that was some of the worst food ever. Not even sure if it qualified as food - maybe a food like substancerobracer wrote:Shit does that include the crappy hospital food or was it all the pizza deliveryswaynemorgan wrote:Prozac and Valium - max doses for 4 weeks while in hospital. Tribulus will not increase your testosterone levels beyond what you can naturally produce. Same with Zinc and Magnesium and other amino acids that have shown they can increase levels. All it will do is pick your testosterone production back up to optimum levels if you are stressed, overtraining, not sleeping enough, drinking too much, smoking etc. Unlike America, we are very strict with what can be sold over the counter and if these products actually did what they claim to do, they would need a prescription. They have their place and can be beneficial if someone is training at extreme levels but are a big expense for the average punter and usually not needed.98ninja wrote: Im against Tribulus but others may have had positive experiences with it.
Food won't make you grow either! Everything you put in your mouth is only to provide the nutrients for your body to do it's job. The advantage of SOME supplements are they are a more efficient method of getting higher concentrations of specific nutrients into your body. There are some substances that can not be attained through your diet in high enough concentrations, while there are other times like post workout when it is more beneficial to drink nutrients rather than eat them so they are digested faster. Unfortunately the supplement industry has evolved into a money making scam and the good scientific knowledge that has been developed often gets lost in the bullshit claims and latest marketing ploy. Most, but not all, of the people I train need to supplement at least protein as they just don't consume enough on a daily basis to maintain the workload they are doing and it's much easier to just add a protein shake to what they already eat.Ticketyman wrote:Supplements are all bullshit, none of them will make you grow. If your far dinkum about weight gain you have just got to eat a shitload of healthy foods even when your not hungry.
Roids are so twentieth century. Testosterone and growth hormones are where it's at these days.philbo wrote:you's are all wrong ROIDS are where its at![]()

If only somatotypes were that simple. Truth is we all have a little bit of each type and some of the attributes of each one in varying ratios. Bottom line is you need to learn what level of nutrition and training works for your body. I've trained people who looked to be identical somatotypes but responded to completely different training loads and diets. This kind of thing was big back in the AIS sportsearch days when they tried to pigeon hole kids into the sports they thought they were built for, but it proved to be impossible to predict future champions due to the complexity of other influencing factors and the program was scrapped. Common sense is often enough to predict whether someone is likely to put on fat or not just by looking at them. People tend to make these classifications naturally even if they don't know anything about somatotypes.Ticketyman wrote:There are 3 main body types Endomorph, gains weight easily and stores fat
Mesamoprph, basically african heavily muscled natural dudes, that gain lean muscle easily,
Ectomorph, skinny dudes whose metabalism is so fast they can't gain any weight.

Aint that the truth.Ticketyman wrote:At the end of the day, when your a young fella you want to get big, then the late 30's come and weight is starting to find it's way easily onto your frame, then 40 hits and 100kg's is on your doorstep without even noticing, then all you want to do is be 80kg and ripped.
Once again I seem to be the exception to the rule then..............Ticketyman wrote:At the end of the day, when your a young fella you want to get big, then the late 30's come and weight is starting to find it's way easily onto your frame, then 40 hits and 100kg's is on your doorstep without even noticing, then all you want to do is be 80kg and ripped.
