What do you guys eat to get big?

Hey yall!

Ive been trying to gains some size and also get ripped but i have not gained much from my current diet. I'm slim as i play and train for basketball and struggle to gain size and weight, yet i also have a layer of body fat which pisses me off because i work out so much and that shits still there. i gathered it is my diet thats letting me down. Any nutritionists out there?

P.s i go gym 4 times a week 2 ploymetrics/ lower body sessions and 2 upper body session
When i grow up i want a ZX6R just like Rob Racer...

Calling nelso!! From the little I know I think more protein helps in gaining muscle mass

i tried 3 protein shakes a day + mass beef/chicken....ended up getting cut from the team for being unfit
When i grow up i want a ZX6R just like Rob Racer...

whey protein isolate is the shiznit. Buy a cheap one like balance and go to Mrsupplement.com ( i think thats it) for good prices. Mass gainers can be duplicated by piffing some oats in the blender with your WPI. Eggs, steak and milk (not all at once) also work. Less cardio gets you bulk. Im against Tribulus but others may have had positive experiences with it.
also think about this as im quite big and want to lose it and im really struggling to lose it.

Drink lots of beer, not the low carb stuff though :roll:

Don't do any cardio workouts for a couple of weeks and just eat lots of carbs and protein, still do the weighs though

See how it goes, but i'm no expert so don't listen to me :lol: :lol:

Just stick with the beer maybe :lol: :kuda:

Supplements are all bullshit, none of them will make you grow. If your far dinkum about weight gain you have just got to eat a shitload of healthy foods even when your not hungry. I used to consume a kilo of wild rice with tuna and salsa a day + fruit vege and red meat... trust me you've just got to eat like Homer.

There are 3 main body types Endomorph, gains weight easily and stores fat
Mesamoprph, basically african heavily muscled natural dudes, that gain lean muscle easily,
Ectomorph, skinny dudes whose metabalism is so fast they can't gain any weight.

If your an Ecto eat like a pig or wait till you hit 40 and things start slowing down, if your a mesamorph then you wouldn't have written this column and you'll be one of those dudes who other blokes hate, and if you're a endo, eat healthy train hard you can get some awesome results, but as soon as you get lazy you'll turn into a fat prick.

Shit loads of decent food and a good dollop of protien shakes along the way.

Anytime i was trying to bulk i always ate 500 calories more a day than i was expending through exercise and living. Stick to this for a bit and you'll soon notice some changes.

Also don't try to bulk too quick. Go for maybe 1lb or 0.5kg per week.
