Perhaps I should drop round with some spanners and a few beers, see if we can't sort it?

Sounds like a similar problem I have with my track bike.
I'm going to try some carby cleaner and a whole tank of fresh juice before I take it to the doctor....
Damn these track bikes....!!!

I think the above is a good idea, even if it doesn't solve anything at least you mmanged to get a few beers under the belt

I think Ill buy some new sparkplugs, and some new throttle cables this weekend.... The throttle is very sticky, and although its not the cause of the problem it is another thing I have been meaning to get to.
Mike, you are always welcome at my house

even if you dont have a reason

you will have to check your fuel presure injectors need 25 to 30psi to work properly+check the spark disconnect each lead grab a sparkplug earth it on the rocker cover and kick it over it should have a stronge blue spark[don't get zaped it can hurt] if you use airrated fuel you can not leave it sitting in the tank it will sqrew the fuel pump suzukis are renowned for cloging there injector as well.brocks performance in the states have a fourim they are big on kawasakis and suzukis
