That really sucks. I'm guessing it is happening on the 2004/2005 model bikes??

Not sure how true the first one is as mine and the guy across the road had std tails when the crack appeared..
Worth bearing in mind though for anyone who might have a future claim. Slip the original tail back on before taking the bike in.

Well I checked back today and the buggers hadn't done anything yet :roll:

They checked the price and ordered the part, and also rang Kawasaki to check it was OK to make the warranty claim, even though it was under the threshold. Apparently they confirmed that they had done a few under warranty and to put some foam under the new one when bolting it down. They haven't had anyone come back with the same problem again.

...oh yeah, and the part is out of stock so it's most likely a three week wait...thank god for gaffa tape :lol:

Sorry Ladies looks like "Lars" will bo outta bounds for 3 weeks till his Arse heals up. Thats what camping with the Mexicans will do to ya mate. You shoulda slept with a tomahawk under your pillow like the late arrival did.
