elrond, I would be extremely suprised to find a Power Commander in your bike, since every 7 I have ever seen has Carbies. The way to tune your bike is to jet it accordingly, but I would hold off on that until the camchain is done.
How sure are you that the previous owner bled the clutch correctly, and used good fluid? Tell ya what; get yourself some Motul RBF600 brake fluid and I will bleed it and the brakes for you. It retails for $25, but if you go into a bike shop and tell them you can get it for $20 elsewhere they should match the price. Just quote Mick or any other non-bike shop and it should be cool. Also if you can afford it at the time get some Motul 5100V 20/50 engine oil or similar and a good (K&N is the best) filter and we will do that too. Can't hurt. And check the pads too, if you they need replacing get hold of some Goodridge GH or even better RGH pads and we can throw them in it. You won't have a brake problem after that, outside of some other (highly unlikely) problem.
