Ho, probably can and probably find it will cost more than a new screen if indeed it can be done, tinted screens are made from tinted perspex making it a one stage rather than 2 stage process.

No, it wasn't tinted, but they did do tinted and iridium screens.

powerbronze also do screens I think, they are a sponsor to.

You'll find with the tiny screen on these bikes that approaching 200kph (on the racetrack of course) you get buffetted around a lot by the wind, at least that was my experience.

Cheers

....As to 'aerodynamic', says who? Wind resistance is not just the angle at which you hit the wind. There is as much resistance caused by the vacuum behind your windscreen than from the wind hitting it in the front. The greater the 'apparent' surface area your windscreen has (the height times the width as seen from the front), the greater its resistance is, in one form or the other. And, lest you think that's not all that important, the faster you go and the larger your windscreen, the more weight you take off your front tire. There comes a point where there is not enough traction left (traction is a function of weight) that your steering becomes 'mushy' and 'slow'. Indeed, with enough speed and windscreen size your steering becomes IMPOSSIBLE as there is no longer any weight on the front tire at all!

mate tinting the screen wont do fark all except look cool...

i had one on my vtr, and on my blade...both double bubble

as stated they reduce wind noise when ur tucked in as they re-direct the wind over ur head, and give u more room to tuck in..at normal speed they deflect the wind from about chest height, to face height....

they do however make it easier to see the dials etc as they sit up higher so ur line of sight is changed.....

Hi Neka,I have had a ZZR600 and now a ZX9R ,would a double bubble help with [normal riding position] wind noise? I have a new Shoei and still lots of noise with both bikes,if the wind hits you around head height will it get louder or just buffet my head around? cheers GB
