no u didnt...u said sum shit about the sun....and i was joking when i said put ur head under the screen, u reckon u could fit a head, in a helmet , under the screen of the 03 zx6r??

seriously the sun doesnt have that much of an effect on the dials in my experience...but if the screen cuts across ur vision then the extra 50mm or so from the dub bub helps heaps....

GB...sit on the bike, in ur normal position...now look at the top of ur screen....now imagine it at the very top, approx 50mm higher....
will this solve ur issues??

i kno a lot of guys who have em (i use to) ...as i said for rides where u wanna tuck in..great...

I have a MRA tinted bubble screen & it's cool cause I have the same sticker on my screen as the MotoGP Kawasaki's & the sticker alone must be good for 20HP.....

....As to 'aerodynamic', says who? Wind resistance is not just the angle at which you hit the wind. There is as much resistance caused by the vacuum behind your windscreen than from the wind hitting it in the front. The greater the 'apparent' surface area your windscreen has (the height times the width as seen from the front), the greater its resistance is, in one form or the other. And, lest you think that's not all that important, the faster you go and the larger your windscreen, the more weight you take off your front tire. There comes a point where there is not enough traction left (traction is a function of weight) that your steering becomes 'mushy' and 'slow'. Indeed, with enough speed and windscreen size your steering becomes IMPOSSIBLE as there is no longer any weight on the front tire at all!
Im not trying to contradict or anything, but I was recently going 265kmph (indicated) and didnt notice front wheel feeling light.... in fact it felt kinda heavy... and as far as steering goes I have to admit, I was on a straight not a curve.... but I suspect that steering at that speed would be fairly minimal at best.... Perhaps the vacuum behind the screen is counterbalanced by the vaccum behind the rider.... Just a thought in any case...

ill say this stereo...for the 3 weeks i was riding my bike around with no screen at all (long story) ..it was very interesting..
was great for wheelies (i could see thru the gap, much like on a naked)..
but thru the twisties my front end got light & flighty at abt 120...i reckon its cos the wind wasnt forcing the bike down, and my body was acting like a parachute...
maybe...

I double bubblerize everything, and again it was the best mod for the zx10r I have done..
If I had a 636 it would be ESSENTIAL.. ya cant see the dash with the little stock screen..

Well the proof is in the testing, I found that out with the acetone experiment  I just threw that post in cause I had read it a while back and figured if someone is gonna make a mod they should have all the info available. I suppose I should have qualified it by saying " Don't know if there is anything in this but..."

I'd love a bigger screen for mine as well but I have noticed something interesting! At 100 kmh the buffeting is not that bad, it only seems to be annoying over 130. And that simple fact has saved my drivers license on many a run up the HWY :P
