Nothing yet; need to get the spare bike running first then be looking at starting it after that!

Well; finally got myself in gear and have bought an MX bar and some risers to start mocking up my ZXR streetfighter!
Plan is for a 900 motor, modern suspension and swingarm or maybe a single sider, black powder frame, ZX6R single seat tail unit and a paint job using the standard colours!

Just bought a cheap set of scrap bandit risers and a steel bar as I don't want to scratch up the good ones before its finished!
Will be going with a Renthal MX bar but not sure about the risers; any advice?

Finally got my ZX7 fork conversion done so the calipers are basically the same as yours now>

Looks the part mate and from the few dabs I've managed to give the brakes they feel pretty strong!
Looking at painting the bike before I do my next track day!

What colour is it going to be?
I have just got a fresh coat of black on the tank & single seat tail I got, The front guard was already black when I bought it & being black it matches pretty good, I need to get a new set of brake hoses & the front end will be sorted
The front calipers came with a fairly fresh set of EBC FA188HH brake pads so that was a bonus considering I got the calipers for $50US, The pads alone are worth more

Going to try and use the standard colours as I don't want to paint the tank as its still got the original "Kawasaki World Champions" sticker on it!
Also since the wheels are green there's few colours I can use to match!

Yeah I am the same although I have gone for black I would not go for yellow, red or orange etc or any metallics & graphics etc, Keeping it fairly Kawasaki with some green on mine too
I would go a green tail to match the lower tank & green on the lower front fairing & guard, Then white on the upper front fairing to match up with the white/green line on the tank, Looks like the green would finish about half way through your headlights horizontally if you run a line from the green on the lower part of the tank?
Would be a good way to match it up with the tank anyway?

Jim,
Sorry to but in, I have been admiring the pictures & like the new fairings & single seat & wondering where you got them from ?
I've started sanding back the 3 colours on mine because the last coat was in enamel & I'm sick of it already especially knowing it won't end up like new.
I'd love to start with new stuff & make a real nice job of it.
Regards
