I usually go there at the start or end of a ride up wollumbi/ through the putty or wisemans ferry. Nice little warm up ride, bit of a shame it's short.

Bit of a Nasho run, quick and fun but mostly a warmup for other rides :D

There's a regular meet every Sunday morning, 9am at Pie In The Sky (PITS).
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

i used to ride it every week - often during the middle of day on weekdays - or very early saturday mornings - before the punters start.

i now avoid it like the plague.

its dangerous, often crowded with all types of riders and always very busy with police (both marked and unmarked).

the speed limit is now 60kph for all the good stuff so you can very easily lose your license.

having said that it is good hanging out at road warriors or the PITS and talking shit with the other bike riders up there.

my advice is to just take it easy up there and dont get carried away trying to catch your mates or other riders.

Because the Sunday OPH ride to PITS is a regular one we don't often post specifically for it - it's assumed ;)
So whenever you feel like it just rock on up - the guys will make you welcome. They'll be obvious by the T shirts and/or hats.
