Well half a one. After finding out how badly my bike needs to be tuned I've started fidding until I can get it to a dyno for a proper tune. I figure if I make some changes before I get to the dyno I might save some time and time is money. Anyway I had a rich spot but my mains were a tiny bit on the lean side so I dropped my needles an upped my mains one size. Gave it a test on the way to work this morning. Out of the blocks she's picked the front up. As much as I'd like to say into a nice stand-up it was just enough completely unweight the front and skim across the top of the undulations in the road. This was the point that bars started to get frisky and somehow I managed to remember to relax my grip and keep on the throttle on so at the point of snapping my thumbs and spitting me off or settling down it did the latter. Least I know the new jets work.
Real bravery is being afraid but doing it anyway.
