Converted

Post by Wadda »

After reading alot of the posts and going to the NSW Dyno day, I been converted back to Kawasaki after an eight year absence on Yamahas and Triumphs.

Had a test ride on a ZX10 and I decided I was going back to Kawasaki and getting a 06 ZX10. By chance I had a go on a ZX12 while another customer had a go on the 10. Converted, get the 06 12 on wednesday. Awesome. Love the 10 but found I like the power delivery of the 12 better for my needs.

See you at the Island.

Great news...

It was the big HP results of the Kawi's on the Dyno that did it wasn't it.. :-)

Great stuff mate.

I'm getting concerned though. We've gone from no 12's in NSW and now we've got three in the space of two weeks. Hoffy's started a trend I think.

Can u describe the power delivery difference as i have a 06 10R and would just think the 12R was heavy and very laid back, the stock 10R is lacking down low but drop 1 tooth up front and its a monster i reckon all the dealers should do this mod and they would sell more bikes as i rode both B4 i bought mine....does anyone have dyno comaro pls
Built by craftsman, Designed by a genius, Ridden by a twat....

Yes. it is heavier and laid back but I didnt mind this once it got moving. The 10 felt held back in the traffic and all I felt like doing was breaking the law to let it run (more than the 12). If I wasnt going to do much touring I would have got the 10 as it was perfect except for the lack of ponies down low, but it is a race bike and ment to be that way. I just found the 12 suited my stile/type of riding better. I wish I could have both...... :(
