Hi guys/gals,

wife and I are thinking bout coming to Melbourne for the Motogp this year.

From experianced attendees........whats the best vantage point or should we lash out for the $230 tickets in the stands?

Depends on how feral you want to get ??? A lot of us will be at highside

You want "some" sleep, go high side

Track side is cool, but it can get feral at times..

u taking a car/van?? cos if so u can only got to trackside... or is it the other way round??

We wasted money last year on the "weather shelters". The ad sounded much better than what was there. As it turned out it was excellent weather, but even if it was rainy the plastic was not very transparent and would have been shit to watch from.

2 pair undies (u can get 4 days out of each pair)
pair socks (dry ones to ride home in)
coupla shirts (or just buy sum down there)
paira jeans
thongs
