Sticky tyres to suit 18" rear & 21" front whee

Post by gizmo »

I'm wondering if I can get some sticky road tyres to suit the std rim sizes 18" rear & 21" front?

I was thinking hardly dangerous but I hope Hoffy is right. Depending on the width and profile you're looking for on the 18 I know Metzler and Bridgestone make a 150 or 160.

Dont bother getting tyres to suit the rims you have on the bike.
Just buy a new , second hand, set of 17 inch rims to suit.

I don't have the $$$$ yet for the motard wheels, hence the std rims with sticky tyres...

There must be something out there, the Clubman class in Motard racing only allows std size rims with sticky tyres...

Bridgestone do something in the sizes you're looking for so give this bloke a call. He's a forum sponsor so will look after you.

Whites Racing Products - 10% discount on Bridgestone tyres, gloves, helmets, knee sliders (plain, sparky & coloured), oils, chain lube, brake fluid, batteries, brake pads, and more... Call Craig on: 0413 461 353

He's based in NSW but should be able to send some up.
