Have been riding zx12 since 2000 with 160,000kms on it... Few rebuilds but still going strong.
Just purchased a zx14.
Different motorcycle completely to my 12. Feels more like a Hayabusa I once had.
Only got 6,000kms on it so far but I love it.
Daily commute Goulburn to Sydney and return. Usually take old road where I can unless I am running late
Modifications so far include...... removal of secondary butterflies to unleash power at 3500rpms instead of 5200rpm. Power Commander, K and N air filter and high routed Ti Force Pipes on way as we speak. Lower front sprocket from 17 to 16 as it was way over geared and would not redline in 6th. Still the limiter knocks it on the head at 290kph until it was removed.
