a few years ago, I got mine from TW Performance in melbourne
http://www.tw-performance.com.au
you can also get it from Aust Motorcycle Components
or
Autotools in hallam - http://www.autotools.com.au/
about $30-40 for a decent one (cheapies around $20)
note some people call them ..shock (or shocker) wrenches

Try somewhere like AllTools or Blackwoods ph87568222 they have a ajustable one 32-76mm that I think should do the job part # 07427204
dont know the price though
you'll need to know what size you need

TW sells good gear at cheap prices. I would highly recommend them if they have one in stock! They sell Draper tools, which are a good quality item. I have half a dozen or so of TW's bits. They have all performed well, and the service was excellent.

Thanks all... bit of research and the $40 is a bit expensive for my situation as I may only use it once. Guess I have to live with a plush suspension...

The suggestions about a big flat-blade screwdriver and a hammer are on the money mate - as long as you are careful, then you can easily bump up the preload on the rear shock, you may only have to move the collars 1 or 2 full turns to get an appreciable difference..javaman wrote:Thanks all... bit of research and the $40 is a bit expensive for my situation as I may only use it once. Its definitely worth a go, and will save you $40.

life is too short to ride round on soggy suspension , it also affects tyre wear
hope the supercheap one sorted you out
