1st service (at 1000km??) should be nothing more than Oil, Filter & a full inspection to make sure all bolts are tight, all cables working properly etc.... a safety check really...
i spose $160 isnt that bad ($5-60 for oil & filter i guess)

Ok, and this was the 1k service ? If so, as the boys have said, it *sounds* about right..........stuffed if I can remember what the 1k service on the 12 cost
They don't do much at this service except change oil and filter, and checklist a lot of things.........

At the first service you should ask them to take the restrictors out... oh that's right it's a Honda, that's as good as it goes..
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

sounds about right
prob 1 hr labour , oil and filter
then the usual
workshop fee
enviromental levy
cause we feel like it charge
lol
change your own oil and filter then you should be paying for about 15 mins labour max

Never had a rev limit on break in, so says the owners manual, just don't labour it
Note to Wattie: Front wheel will bounce up in fourth, ask Pabs

$160 is at the upper end of "normal"..... Las time I paid $145... the other prices I got were all around the 150-170 mark.....
one guy was $110..... so I didnt use him...
The world is round. It has no point.
