Seeking assistance for chain and sprocket fitting

Post by mick_dundee »

Bought an xring chain and new sprockets for the beast, as above states, need some assistance fitting as a) i've not done it before b) probbly don't have all the tools I need and c) I reckon the chain will need shortening and I definately don't have a chain breaker for a motrbike.

Any volunteers? Happy to provide refreshements for assistance.

Don't think Lainie's into that side of things that much Mina, guess we'll find out Monday, alas can't seem to find a bike store open that stocks a chain breaker so guess it's the old centre punch and hammer routine..

bloke that did my chain used a dye grinder to cut out the excess links and a rivet tool and a hammer and punch to put in the split link.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
