Post by Neka79 »

ive had a chat with Ms Cheeky Tan...and a few of the other lad/lasses around....

has ne one got a cd copy of the z1000 manual (workshop type jobby??) that they can send me thru email or a cd??

also if ne1 has ne GREAT suggestions for things theyve seen on a z that look the ducks guts, im happy to have links/pics so i can have a squizz...

i have a list of bling mods, and a list of performance mods (PC3, zorst filter??) ..do u folks really think u need to upgrade the shock, forks and whack a dampner on it?? seriously??

i plan on blinging str8 away, but the performance shit can wait till im use to the bike, and its run in, and i prove to myself i really need it...

ne help will be appreciated...

Neka, I think that the Ermax bellypans look the best of all the aftermarket ones. They just seem to have the best "fit" and styling. Also consider crash knobs that fit onto your alternator cover, braided lines, seat cowl.
Cheers,
Anne

Belly pans ruin the look of the bike, IMHO.
When you get a nice 4 into 1, that plastic belly pan thing will hide your lovely headers!
Muzzy Ti 4 into 1, Power Commander III USB, K&N, Airbox mod, KLEEN delete, Throttle quickener, Vortex -1 front sprocket, Renthal Ultra Low 'bars, Seat cowl, Ohlins 0.95kg fork springs, ZX6R shock. 130hp/ 70ft/lbs!

Dunno deaf.. When i see a zed now without a bellypan it looks messy and unfinished to me :)

And the top of my headers which are an awesome purple which goes into a brilliant gold color are clearly visible :)
