On my way in to work this morning I got to George St where I came up behind three bike cops on their Suzuki 400 trailies, so naturally I stayed riding along just behind them. It was great, because no-one tried to cut me off as they usually do...heheh gotta love that (Actually had a similar occurrence when Dick Cheney was in town as well).

They had paper maps (covered in plastic sheets) of the barricaded areas stuck onto the crossbars and were dressed in these dark blue jumpsuits, but had standard helmets (not trail bike ones).

Windsor is not in the Metro zone that has the public holiday. Therefore theres no day off for my staff..
The boss, however, will take his day in lieu on the 20th...

Oh, i thought they used the Windsor airbase for aircraft storage as there's a distinct lack of space at Sydney airport. If you can avoid it, steer clear of the eastern 'burbs/the city tomorrow morning as Mr Putin arrives at Sydney Airport at 7:20am tomorrow and they are doing the whole clearway thing into the city.

They actually sent a bucketload of aircraft down to Melb to sit here and wait. I'm looking out my window now, and the freight apron is packet with different aircraft.
