KRT Take Delivery of New 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R Superbike
From KRT
The highly anticipated and all new Kawasaki ZX-10R Motorcycles have been unpacked from their air crates and are in the hands of the Kawasaki Racing Team!
The industry buzz and anticipation for the all new Ninja Motorcycle has been phenomenal since its World Press Launch at Qatar in December 2007 and its World Superbike test at Phillip Island in January 2008 only added to the excitement.
Jeff Ware, editor of Rapid Magazine which features the new ZX-10R on the February Issue front cover was present at the World Press Launch. In a recent radio interview with the Road Rage program on 2RRR, Jeff had nothing but praise for the new Motorcycle. “I’m really excited about the ZX-10R, I want one bad in my garage!” said Jeff.
“There’s no comparison with the 06, 07 Models. It’s had a complete overhaul. The engine position is different, the chassis is different, the swingarm position is different. It’s a fantastic Motorcycle! Once people get their bums on seats, I think there’s going to be a lot of fresh green blood flowing!”
KRT Rider, Shannon Johnson was present at the World Superbike test at Phillip Island. “The positive reaction and feedback for the new ZX-10R is overwhelming! It’s very exciting.” He said.
“The physical dimension of the new ZX-10R in race trim is noticeably smaller than the competitor’s machines. A lot of the other manufacturers believe that the new ZX-10R will be the dark horse in 2008.”
Shannon caught up with Kawasaki WSB rider Regis Laconi at Philip Island. Regis is also very excited about the new Motorcycle. “The new ZX-10R has so much horse power and the handling is awesome. The new Motorcycle is fantastic.” said Laconi.
“All of the race track difficulties on the old bike are fixed on the new bike! I can’t wait for the new season to start” .
The all new Kawasaki ZX-10R is expected to be in Kawasaki Dealerships in February and on race tracks all over the world throughout 2008!

Re: KRT take delivery of zx10r
Make sure you get 2 lots of any spare race parts they have laying around ok..
The track day went OK, did a couple of sessions on the 7 then the next 3 on the 10. Didn't do the last one as I had to get home early.
It was pretty hot and the groups were choccas. A group was a disaster, I've never seen so many bikes in the grass. I don't think we had a session without the yellow flag and 2 sessions were red flagged...
The bikes went OK although all the tyres are now rooted so I'm up for 2 sets of slicks before the next one..
Pete was out there on the gsxr and after a little footpeg incident in the first session, he went pretty well...
Next day should be the 9th of Feb...
