Has anyone fitted an aftermarket shiftstar to the Ten's gearselector and has it made any real improvement on gear changes?
Would love to hear from anyone out there about it as it will be my next mod when I get home.
Cheers,
Troy

i think the 10r has an excellent shift as is.

to be honest the gear box is probably one of the only things that i am not a 100 percent sure about
i dont mind it, havent missed a gear yet but it feels a lot heavier than my 2002 gsxr 600 whihc just feels smooth

Not to a 10, but I fitted one to my 9 and it made a huge difference - well worth the investment for a 9 at the track, though I don't know that I'd bother for a road bike.

Re: ZX10R 04-05 shiftstar for gearbox????
Should have a report for you in 2-3 weeks ; I've got one here for my '07, which I think shifts crap as standard. I'm planning on installing it over the next couple of weeks.
Bastard of a thing to change, though ; unlike the old ZXR where you simply pulled off the transmission cover, my thing requires the friggin' clutch to be pulled out.
Cheers,
Brian
