Hi All,
I have recently upgrded fron a 91 ZZR 250 to a 2000 ZX9R.(love it by the way.Awsome machine).Anyhow, I just set the suspesion on my bike, but my question is,(forgive my ignorance). When you measure rear spring pre-load , should the bike be vertical with my weight on it ? Or on the side stand with no weight? What is the best method? I have a good idea of mechanics and how to measure. But just to know.

Thanx in advance

if u want to measure the "sag" the i think its sit on the bike with it upright and then release your weight while the bike is upright.... the difference is the sag...

should around 15-20mm (please correct me if i'm wrong)

this may help
