1994 ZZR600 - Gearing

Thinking about changing the sprocket to take the gearing higher. Not sure if it has been played with by prior owner(s) but as a reference currently revs as per below -

3000rpm = 60ks per hr
3500rpm = 70ks per hr
4000rpm = 80ks per hr
4500rpm = 90ks per hr
5000rpm = 100ks per hr

etc, etc

Can anyone else confirm that this is as per factory ? Has anyone changed the gearing ? Any recommendations on sprocket sizes?

if u have an owneers manual it should tell you what the final drive ratio (sprocket sizes) is... then its a matter of counting your current ones...

Manual says 48/16. Revs as posted match my bike.

Revs match my ZZR, too, and it's definitely not been changed from stock.

I use one rear sprocket for Eastern Creek but another one does me for both Wakefield and Oran!

Mine says 45/15 - D model and 48/16 - E1,E2.

They equate to the same thing, ? Yeah ?.
Try 48/15 champ They aren't the most nibble Kwaka running around. Doubt you'll change it back to stock after a few traffic light launches.
