ZXR750 rearsets

Post by bishboy »

I've been looking for a set of rearsets for my '92 ZXR750 and all I can find are the following (and yes I have also been looking under ZX7R  ). Both the Spiegler and ProTek are non adjustable, any great need to be adjustable??

I looked under all the main manufacturers: Gilles, Sato, Vortex, PP Tuning, Woodcraft, Yoshimura, Graves, Attack, Valter Moto, Rizoma, LLS, Yanashiki, Robby Moto, Tech G and even our good friends Kaneg

Here's a link to some good info on rearsets, levers, rims etc http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/forum/m ... t-reviews/

Spiegler for about $600 (bit chunky looking  )

Protek for about $420

Wet 4 U also claim to make an adjustable set that fit for $495, although they are not on their website (they wouldn't me a different model that would need persuading to fit, would they ;) )

Does anybody know of any other manufacturers ore retailers that stock them, or does anybody know of any for sale.

Is there anyother models that would fit without any major modifications, surely there have be more available than I have found :(

Kaneg.com.au do adjustable rearsets for about $350.. Not sure if they'd have any for your bike though..

You could try these.

I've got a set of Race Supplies rearsets on my road bike, and Cath did have a set on her tracky too. They're not much higher or further back than stock, although they do give a bit more clearance. I recently swapped the ones out on Cath's bike for a set of Kaneg adjustable ones to get a bit more height. If you're looking for extra ground clearance you might want something other than the Race Supplies ones, but if you just need some reasonably priced rearsets that are quite reasonable quality these might be useful.

I've got (had) Vortex rearsets on my Mutant and they're quite good. Dunno where you can get them though ... I suppose Google is your friend.

Kaneg sells the 'sato' style rearsets and they are mighty fine, convert the 12 into a real smooth charger with the sweetest gear changes. He even has his name on them now.
