Neons along the side of the bike

Post by sicari »

G'day guys, first proper post on your website, so go easy on me
I have a blue zzr250 and I am thinking about putting blue neons inside the vents (see picture below) along the side of the bike
Can it be done first off, how can i do it, has anyone done anything like this before and does it look good?

Im not sure if i should put the lights on a seperate switch so i can control when they are on, or should i connect them to the main lights so they go on when i start the bike?
FYI they are only small neons nothing to over the top!

Neon's are neon's no matter how small they are pretty useless IMHO
If it isn't performance enhancing then leave it out... that + the fact the cops can ping you for them so I have been told.

you are a Kuda whore Russ
as for the neons I think the best idea is to leave em for the rice burner boyz & Andrew if you can keep the 250 as stock as possible the resale value will be more ;)

Definately can be done. I see you are in Melbourne. So Mick Dundee would be the Neon Fitment expert. Just drop him a PM. If he can't answer your very valid questions, then PM Slow n Wobbly! He's another one who would most likely be more than happy to share his opinion on the neons with ya!
Good luck with the fit out and I'm glad you think neons would look great on a ZZR250. Everyone else with think yuor a tryhard wanker, but at least you'll think your cool! :kuda:

Mate, don't spend a cent on your first bike, beyond maintanence that is. It's money wasted. If you're going to invest in something, invest in rider training.

My Z750 had neons all over it when I bought it ....including a remote control unit in the boot  First thing I did was snip every wire and rip the remote box out!!!! Nb. Aren't blue lights on a non-emergency vehicle illegal? Careful there, I'm pretty sure you can get 'done' for it.

Hey welcome to the forum!! ;) :D
