I have braided lines, new pads, caliper service and still the lever is loose with over "1 of free play and can pull the lever to the bar with 2 fingers, So i give up and want to replace it with something better as i will be racing this bike with St George and the Oran park 6hr enduro.
What do people recommend... brembo, breringer etc??
or is it the calipers like the 07 ZX10R front brak fix post??
Cheers

the calipers on the 06-07 zx10 are the same as yours.
you need the zx14, or zx6 from 07 on calipers.
or i think gixxer ones fit too.

the M/C is not the problem.
a brembo m/c will mask the problem with the calipers.

Re: Front master cyclinder '06 ZX6R
I'm still running the stock Mc and calipers on my 05 10 and they are fine. The key is to keep them clean.
I had them serviced and re-greased by Aitkens a few months ago, including polishing the pistons and have kept them clean (scrub with a toothbrush) since, with no problems.
They worked great at the St George round when I put in a new set of pads.
Not so great before that when the pads fell out..
But yeh, its a bit of extra work that doesn't seem necessary with other calipers and if your going to do the 6hr, its gunna be a little hard to clean em up..
