ZX-7

Post by StuMiller »

Hi all,

I'm starting to look to buy a bike to use as a track bike and the ZX-7 is my choice.

I bought a brand new one back in 1998 and took it around Phillip Island a few times and thought it handled really well straight out of the box. I know they are quite heavy, but they give you plenty of confidence.

I will be looking to spend up to $5k and the bikes I have seen so far have from 20 000kms on wards.

Are there any specific issues you know of that these bikes have that I should be mindful of?
