DAMN!
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Re: Stoner to miss next 3 races!
meh, im probably the only one but i think he is a little baby and when something doesnt go his way he has a cry about it.
Ever since the incident with rossi last year, showing very very poor sportsmanship, my respect for him has diminished.
Then at what i think was the Catalunya, when he was 3rd you could see that his attention was taken by something off the track, as he looks his rear losses grip but manages to get it back.
He played it off as something being wrong with the rear tyre, but post race footage shows the tyre was in perfect condition. While Pedrosa managed to come in ahead of him with a completely shagged front, yet didnt complain.
I hope tho that he does get well and when he makes his comeback maybe he is a little more focused on racing and not complaining.

Bayliss to fill in for him? Surely they need someone to do it.

Mikka Kallia, from the satellite team.
And I think that's a bit rough MrWasabi. I think with the illness he's suffering he was a legend still coming 3rd for a couple of races.

Re: Stoner to miss next 3 races!
i suspect there is something pretty seriously wrong with him
he is still a possibility for the championship and his bike is competitive - so pulling out cause he feels a bit doughy is crazy.
if it was just a flu like thing or tiredness im sure he would push on and just get through the next 3 races and take a rest in the mid season break.
i hope im wrong and he is just being a pussy and he comes back fine.
Im spewing that the knob lorenzo is going to have less competition now. I would rather have pedrosa win than lorenzo.
hopefully rossi can continue to beat him.
Its a shame that bayliss isnt in a position to take over the ride. that would be awesome
anyway i like stoner and i hope he sorts it out quickly and gets back to it.

Re: Stoner to miss next 3 races!
I think it's good. We need this competition in MotoGP otherwise it's going to turn back into the days of Doohan winning everything. I may be a heretic that deserves to be hung drawn and quartered for not supporting Stoner but I appreciate the level of competition he brings and thus wish him back into the fray asap..
Re: Stoner to miss next 3 races!
I'm hoping it's only Stoner having time off to hopefully get over his ailment. There's talk that he wants to quit and this is Ducati 'please reconsider' time. Hopefully this isn't the case and he can get well and get back up the pointy end again.
Ah, computer dating. It's like pimping but you rarely have to use the phrase "upside your head" - Bender Bending Rodríguez

Re: Stoner to miss next 3 races!
Totally disagree. I have seen Stoner readily admit that he cocked up or that he didn't ride aswell as he should. I have also seen just about every other rider - including Rossi - have a hissy-fit when things don't go their way. Biaggi was always the biggest complainer when he lost.MrWasabi wrote:meh, im probably the only one but i think he is a little baby and when something doesnt go his way he has a cry about it..

Re: Stoner to miss next 3 races!
Absolutely. Have you ever seen one of these blokes happy to come second (except for maybe Alex Criville). I think you've got to remember he's stll a relatively young tacker and sure he's going to be pissed if he thinks he's ben hard done by. After the Laguna seca thing cooled down he admitted he was wrong to get uppity.aardvark wrote:Totally disagree. I reckon it's good that he had the balls to tell Rossi what he thought. It's a pity he's missing it would have been a cracker end to the season I think, now it'll just be Rossi and Lorenzo and that'll come down to team orders at some point probably
