Z750 Keys question

Hi, I recently purchased a second hand 2007 Z750, I was wondering how many keys does it come with? The owner has given me a Red and a Black key, is it meant to come with 2 Black keys?

Hi Lazza, welcome to ksrc......
Red & 2 Black is the norm, but the red one is the important master key...... put the red one in a safe place & whatever you do dont use if for day to day use.
You can get another black one cut then programmed from the red at a dealer's

+1........ Yep probably best to get another black key copied now so you have a spare, then as Rob said put the red one away safe.........

If you lose the red one, it will cost about $2,500 to $3,000 to replace .....

it will cost that price if you want to get a genuine Kawasaki key with all the also gizmo's that go with it.

My mate has a new R1 which he bought 2nd hand which only had 1 key, no master key and he went to this joint that did keycutting, and they made him a replica with the encoded stuff in it for $120 and still works to this very day! key just looks a bit queer though
