ZX2R runnin rich, I think???

Hi all, just bought a ZX2r 88 model and run into a prob.
The bike will start from cold without choke with only one or two cranks of the engine.
The problem occurs when I ride the bike for longer than about 5 to 10 mins. Then the engine cuts out and wont start till the next mornin.
If I try and start the engine after its cut out it keeps turnin over and over trying to fire but wont start, then I end up with fuel on my leg coz it pumps out from the exhaust.
Really stuck and dunno what it could be. Can anyone lend a hand?

Calling Kevin...... his zx2r was in and out of the shop many times running rich - ended up being entirely wrong jetting i think....
