Goose of the "long weekend" *cough*, or "gone in 60 seconds"
Some twit decides that it would be a fantastic idea to do the double-ton (metric, not old fangled measurements) at 12:01am and gets arrested for it. Well done mate, well done!
That combined with some of the other things in that story, is just a *little* bit of a worry when it comes to the mental maturity of people on the roads.

A motorcyclist clocked doing more than double the 100 kmh speed limit in Melbourne told "appalled" officers at the scene he was rushing to pick up his girlfriend.

He's doing 110 over, I don't think 1 minute would have made a difference to his outcometim wrote:lol, one minute in double demerits

As has been pointed out previously - you cannot legislate against stupidity
BYW, it also pisses me off that they refer to the "motorcyclist", he wasnt a motorcyclist, he was a an "unrider" different things imho. One has gained a licience, the other is a cock head riding a motorcylist.
So if I stole a plane and crashed it - am I a pilot

hey good point... I always wanted to be a pilot...
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Now there's an idea...no speed limit up there..
Maybe that new plane the NSW police have can get you up there too...bit hard to pull you over though...

Re: Goose of the "long weekend" *cough*, or "gone in 60 seconds"
the competition is stiff this week
NT man gets earpiece stuck after using super glue
A MAN who used super glue to fix his mobile phone thought his problems were solved -- until he put the phone to his ear.
"I hit my ear on the boom of my truck and broke the headset of my phone," Gye Gardner told the Northern Territory News.
"So I got some super glue and glued it back together - and that was ... when my boss rang."
After having the headset in his ear for more than five minutes the adhesive had hardened - and Mr Gardner found himself with a earpiece glued into his ear.
"Usually it's in my ear all day anyway - friends suggested to leave it in there and just plug my ear into the powerpoint at night to charge it. But I did get a little worried and thought 'This is not good, this is really not good at all'."
The 43-year-old said he scraped the earpiece out of his ear with a spoon but several pieces of skin were still stuck to the headphones.
"Yes, it did hurt - but I guess I did hurt my pride much more than it did hurt my ear."

By my reckoning no Pilot's license would make you an Unpilot...Phil wrote:So if I stole a plane and crashed it - am I a pilot
