I am just wondering for one how many people on this site have overbored the B model engine and if so What pistons they have used. I know there are JE pistons and Wiseco's available from the states but have heard varied reports on them. The ones I have used in mine came with a half built engine. Unfortunately compresion ratio is Up at around 16:1 ...LOL...I kid you not. However as increasing the squich height would reduce combustion efficitency I had no option but to dish the pistons slightly. Fortunately there is a lot of meat in them. In any case I am actually trying to Identify them If I can They are stock kwaka pistons with the ART written on the side and I think they may be from The Z1000. Pins are stock zx9/zx7 Dia and bore Dia is 75mm. Any Ideas as to what they may be. I mean it has taken quite some time to re-profile the tops so I probably will not do it for the next set any way, but just wanted to know if any one else had tried pistons from another model rather than aftermarket big bore kit pistons. cheers

Go to http://www.riderforums.comand create yourself a logon and ask the question about the Z1000. I would do it for you but because of my lovely sense of humor I've been banned for life.

ZXR750 -> ZX7R. It's an addiction, I tell you.
